By just watching and looking at the way you throw, Austin has the uncanny ability to offer tips, tweaks, and ideas that will transform the way you work on the wheel.
This course is for people who have prior experience in throwing.
For those of you looking to throw larger vessels during this course, you will explore methods in your preferred throwing style.
Austin will teach the proper preparation of clay. Enabling you to produce larger pots with larger amounts of clay. Then, with improved technique, you will also look at composite working and sectional throwing.

This SIX week course starts on Thursday 5th November 2026, and takes place every Thursday evening from 7.00pm – 9.30pm, in our beautiful basement Studio 1, in Moseley School of Art, on the following dates :-

Description
Pottery is a messy business. Â Please remember, bring a clean wipe-able apron and a small hand towel with you, to each session.
The last 20 minutes of each session are dedicated to cleaning up.
